Abstract
Description
The discovery of the Sancti Spiritus Fort constitutes an essential link to a deeper understanding of historical events and cultural developments that occurred during the Early Colonial Period in the Río de La Plata basin. Despite its ephemeral exist-ence Sancti Spiritus was the scene of complex situations and intense intercultural processes that marked a before and after on the construction of our past in the re-gion. The objetive of this paper is to propose an alternative theorical analysis relat-ed to the indigenous ceramic study and to focus on the intercultural processes de-veloped from a contextual archaeology perspective.
