El área involucrada en este estudio (9137.4 km) corresponde al sur de la provincia de Santa Fe y al norte 2
de la de Buenos Aires (República Argentina), limitada por las longitudes oeste 62º14'42” y 61º25'03” y por las
latitudes sur 33º33'05” y 34º36'47” (WGS84). Est área está localizada en la llanura pampeana, mayor e mente en la
subunidad que los geógrafos denominan “Pampa de las Lagunas” y los geólogos “Pampa Deprimida”, y se caracteriza
por tener un relieve de muy baja amplitud.
El objetivo del estudio geomorfológico fue aportar conocimientos vinculados con los comportamientos
hidrológico, hidráulico y ambiental de la cuenca de aportes a la laguna Del Chañar, atendiendo al futuro manejo
sustentable de los recursos hídricos; por tanto se consideró como eje fundamental a la elaboración de la cartografía
geomorfológica acompañada con un desarrollo importante de la morfometría. Para la confección de la cartografía se
utilizó el criterio de mapeo del ITC de Holanda, adoptando la escala 1:100.000 que se corresponde con los proyectos a
nivel de prefactibilidad técnica. Se desarrollaron modelos digitales del terreno que fueron de gran utilidad para aportar
información relevante. Los mosaicos de imágenes del satélite Landsat 7 procesados constituyen la base icónica de
varios modelos utilizados para la interpretación visual, siendo muy efectiva para la separación de los cuerpos de agua
la componente intensidad de la transformación cromática IHS.
La cartografía geomorfológica editada permite obtener información espacial de los complejos de formas del
relieve, cuyos límites se refieren a situaciones normales capturadas en las imágenes satelitales. Los procesos
geomórficos se registraron en el marco de la generalización.
The study area (9137.4 km) spreads n part of south Santa Fe Province and part of north Buenos Aires 2 o Province, east-central Argentina, bounded by west longitudes 62º14'42” & 61º25'03” and south latitudes 33º33'05” & 34º36'47” (WGS84). This area is characterized by very low relief amplitude and belongs to the Pampean plain, mostly in the subunit denominated “Pampa of the Lagoons” by geographers and “Depressed Pampa” by geologists. The objective of the present paper is to report the results of the study of the hydrologic, hydraulic and environmental behaviours of the Del Chañar lagoon watershed, attending to the future sustainable o managementf its hydrologic resources. T elaboration of geomorphologic cartography was the fundamental axis of the herefore, the work, associated with an important development of the morphometry. The criterion developed in the ITC of he T Netherlands was used for the production of the cartography, adopting a 1:100.000 scale in correspondence with the projects at technical feasibility. The terrain digital models developed were very useful to provide relevant information. The mosaics of Landsat 7 images processed were the iconic base of several models used for visual interpretation, being the intensity component of its IHS chromatic transform very effective for the separation of the water bodies. The edited geomorphologic cartography enables the obtention of spatial information of the relief forms complexes, whose limits are referred to normal situations captured by the satellite images. The geomorphic processes were recorded in the frame of the generalization.
