Argentina (Triple A).
The repression practiced during the 1973-1976 constitutional period has been studied mainly from approaches that have focused their attention on the actions of the Argentine Anti- communist Alliance (Triple A). From a limited geographic and temporal approach -Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires, during the months after Perón's death - these works projected their conclusions on a national scale, seeking to account for the entire period as well. This work distances itself from these interpretations and, although without denying the importance of this organization, reconstructs the conformation and gradual evolution of a complex repressive process that will count on the active participation of individuals and civil groups belonging to the very structures of the movement.
