Este artículo abordará los modos de construcción de la imagen en los textos poéticos de Dylan Thomas, teniendo presente los efectos de lectura que resultan de los diversos procedimientos verbales presentes en su obra. Se analizará, a partir del marco teórico propuesto por Didi Huberman (2011), la temporalidad singular que sostiene cada poema en consonancia con la ruptura de la linealidad que, si bien es inherente al discurso poético, adquiere en la poesía thomasiana características singulares que se abordarán en este trabajo. Este recorrido aborda asimismo la relación entre sentido y voz que se establece en esta poética, y las relaciones que entabló el autor con el surrealismo, problematizando la inscripción de la poesía de Thomas en este movimiento.
This article will discuss the different ways in which images are constructed in Dylan Thomas´ poetry, bearing in mind the effects that result from reading the various verbal procedures in his work. We will analyze from the theoretical framework proposed by Didi Huberman (2011) the singular temporality hold by these poems, consisting in the rupture of linearity, that even though it is inherent in the poetic discourse, acquires in this poetry unique characteristics that will be pointed out in this paper. This article also addresses the relationship between sense and established voice in this poetic and the relationship of the author with surrealism, discussing the inclusion of Thomas´poetry in this movement.
