A partir de una perspectiva poscolonial analizaremos la actual condición saharaui en el contexto del exilio, migración y en los territorios ocupados del Sahara Occidental, poniendo el foco de atención en el ordenamiento simbólico impuesto por la colonización española y la influencia que tendrá en los cambios producidos en la vida cotidiana de los saharauis, así como en la construcción (y cambios) en la identidad de los hijos de las nubes. En este artículo haremos un breve recorrido de cómo la creación colonial de las fronteras y la consecuente sedentarización de las poblaciones afectan el tiempo y el espacio de las poblaciones nómadas. Se verá como estos procesos están acompañados por una política racial que se manifiesta a partir de intereses económicos (en relación a los fosfatos) y de la educación que se imparte en el territorio. El resultado será la conformación de una identidad saharaui gestada entre la globalización económica y la resistencia por el reconocimiento de sus derechos.
The article has the aim to understand the actuality of sahrawi condition into exile, migration and into ocupied territory through an historic tour, which focused on the influence of a new symbolic system (imposed by Spanish colonization) about diary life and the construction (and change) of identy of son of clouds. In this article, we’ll analyaze how the creation of colonial borders and the sedentary consequence –on sahrawi people– alter the time and the space of nomadic people. These process’ have been favored by racial politics that could be shown by way of the economics interests and the educational policy onto Western Sahara. The results will be the creation of a sahrawi identity between the economic globalization and the resistance against the privation of own rights.
