La philía ha sido un objeto eminente de la reflexión filosófica,
particularmente, en la filosofía griega. Se trataría de un tema
examinado de manera singular por la ética y con un carácter más
problemático por la política. El propósito de este trabajo es examinar el
significado filosófico de la philía en el pensamiento de Aristóteles y de
Platón. En este sentido esperamos hacer visibles la continuidad y el
enriquecimiento de este concepto tan importante para la ética y la
política.
Friendship has been a prominent object of philosophy, particularly in Greek philosophy. This would be a topic discussed in a unique way by ethics and a more problematic for the politics. The main purpose of this work is to discuss the philosophical meaning of philia in the Aristotle and Epicuru’s thought. In this sense we hope to visualize the continuity and the development of this concept, so important for the ethics and the politics.
