Este trabajo se propone indagar en la conformación del circuito independiente rosarino a mediados de siglo XX. Para ello el trabajo reconstruye la trama teatral de la ciudad desde el surgimiento de los primeros teatros a mediados del siglo XIX y la conformación de un circuito profesional, hasta la emergencia hacia fines del siglo XIX de un circuito filodramático. Delineado este cuadro, la investigación reconstruye la llegada a la ciudad de los principios del Teatro Independiente bajo la hipótesis de que éstos habilitaron una organización de las relaciones y los medios de producción de manera alternativa al circuito profesional y filodramático. Entendemos que la reapropiación de los principios del teatro independiente por los artistas locales posibilitó el desarrollo de una producción local perdurable y acumulativa, habilitó la emergencia de una tradición teatral rosarina y construyó el espacio propio de la producción local dentro del campo cultural de la ciudad.
This work aims to investigate the formation of Rosario independent circuit in mid-twentieth century. It reconstructs the story of the emergence of the first theaters in the mid-nineteenth century and the formation of a professional circuit, until the emergence in the late nineteenth century of a filodramático circuit. Then, it reconstructs the arrives in town of the principles of the Independent Theater under the assumption that they brings a new way of organization of the relations and means of production.We understand that the reappropriation of the principles of independent theater by local artists enabled the development of a lasting and cumulative local production, enabled the emergence of a theatrical tradition in Rosario and built the space for the local production within the cultural field in the city.
