El artículo propone un abordaje de la relación entre ciencia y cambio social en la Argentina de los ´60 ´70. Se espera poder dar cuenta del clima de la época a partir del trabajo de autores como Oscar Varsavsky y Enrique Mari. En el mismo sentido es que se analiza la recepción, unos años antes, de la obra de Wright Mills en el país, el cual llama la atención sobre la importancia de estos debates epistemológicos, a la vez que reflexiona sobre la necesidad de una tarea intelectual artesanal. Si bien abordamos el análisis específico que el sociólogo Gino Germani realiza de la obra de Mills, se cruza también al autor en diálogo con los científicos arriba mencionados.
The article analyzes the relation between epistemología and social change in the Argentina of 60-70. It wants to show the climate of the time from the work of authors engaged with the social change as they were Varsavsky and Mari. In the same sense is that is analyzed the reception, years before, of the work of Wright Mills in the country. It calls the attention on the importance of these epistemologic debates and reflects on the necessity of an intellectual handcrafted task.
