Descripción
Este trabajo enfoca, desde la perspectiva de la Lingüística Social (Requejo), y la Psicología Social (Pichón Riviere, Quiroga), las siguientes problemáticas: a) el complejo y cambiante panorama de las lenguas a nivel mundial, b) los procesos político-sociales que afectan al plurilingüismo, uno de los indicadores de la diversidad y contra hegemonía cultural en el mundo, c) la acelerada y dolorosa desaparición de idiomas no hegemónicos a nivel mundial, y d) la posibilidad o dificultad actual para enormes mayorías de población de asumir una autoría de la palabra-pensamiento desde un lugar valorado, tanto desde el punto de vista lingüístico como socio-político cognoscitivo y cultural. Su meta es generar debates y nuevas aperturas en el campo de la educación, la comunicación, la salud mental y las políticas lingüístico-culturales.
This paper focuses, from the point of view of Social Linguistics (Requejo), and Social Psychology (Pichon Riviere, Quiroga), on the following issues: a) the complex and changing scenery of languages worldwide, b) the socio-political processes which affect multilingualism, one of the indicators of the cultural diversity and counter-hegemony in the world, c) the swift and painful disappearance of non-hegemonic languages all over the world, and d) the current possibility or difficulty for vast majorities of population to assume authorship of the word-thought from an appreciated place, from the linguistic point of view as well as the socio-political, cognitive and cultural point of view. Its aim is to generate debates and new openness in the fields of education, communication, mental health and the linguistic-cultural policies.
