El presente artículo apunta a entender el proceso de sacralización de los caídos en la Guerra de Malvinas por parte de sus familiares, en donde los vivos tienen una íntima conexión con los muertos en la vida cotidiana. A través de entrevistas realizadas a un grupo de familiares de los caídos en la Guerra y de trabajo de campo realizado en espacios públicos y privados, el artículo intenta identificar las narrativas y prácticas que dan sustento los procesos de sacralizaciones, en donde, la muerte en la guerra, la reconfiguración mítica del héroe, la falta del cuerpo, y la idea de sacrificio voluntario, juegan un rol fundamental. Dentro de este marco hago una comparación con formas de sacralizaciones populares asociados a otros difuntos milagrosos.
This article aims to understand the sanctification process of the fallen in the Malvinas war by their families, where his relatives had an intimate connection with the dead in everyday life. Through interviews with a group of relatives of those dead in the war and field work in public and private spaces, the article attempts to identify narratives and practices that sustain processes sacralizations, where death in war, the mythical hero reconfiguration, the absence of corps, and the idea of voluntary sacrifice, play a fundamental rol.
