| dc.description | O objetivo deste artigo é pôr em jogo, na construção da rede familiar de Martínez del Monje, uma família notável da cidade de Santa Fé no século XVIII, como apoio para o acesso ao poder político local. A presença, no capítulo, desse grupo nos primeiros 50 anos no século XVIII, testifica as práticas mais comuns de fazer política nessas latitudes. A trajetória dessa família na administração local permite mostrar as práticas políticas, sociais e institucionais na construção do poder político, colocando o foco em situações de conflito. Assim, podemos ver o processo de configuração e reconfiguração constante nessas relações e como o fluxo de trocas, nas redes, foi ganhando força e extensão. Também, analisar a composição dos grupos de poder no tecido de suas relações, acúmulo de prestígio e retenção, no governo local, nas áreas mais importantes do poder como as posições jurisdicionais. | es |
| dc.description | The purpose of this work is to examine the construction of the Martinez del Monjefamily network, that of a notable family in the city of Santa Fe in the eighteenthcentury, as a steppingstone to successfully gaining access to local political power. The presence of this family in the Santa Fe City Council during the first half of the seventeenth century, shows us the most common ways of getting involved in politics in these lands. The path of this family through the local government allows us to see the political, social and institutional practices used in the building of political power, focusing on situations of conflict. In this way, we can see the constant process of shaping and reshaping of these relationships, and how these changes created wider and stronger networks. Additionally, this work analyses the make up of these groups of power based on the abilities in the fabric of their relationships, the gathering of status and the retaining of more significant roles such as judicial positions within the local government | es |
