Este trabajo se inició en la década del 90, desde el Museo Arqueológico Provincial
“Aníbal Montes” de Río II, Córdoba. Sus resultados parciales se presentaron en el
XII Congreso Nacional de Arqueología Argentina. El trabajo actual constituye una
revisión y puesta al día de la mencionada investigación. En aquel momento algunos
materiales nos resultaron difíciles de clasificar. Estudios posteriores, el avance de
la Arqueología Histórica, el reconocimiento de la presencia de esclavos negros en
las primeras ocupaciones españolas en las riberas del Xanaes y las producciones
propias de este grupo social facilitaron una visión más integrada y actual que es la
que proponemos.
This work was started in the 1990’s, at the Museo Arqueológico Provincial “Aníbal Montes” form Rio II, Córdoba. The results were presentated in the XII Congreso Nacional de Arqueología Argentina (XII National Congress of Argentinian Archaeology). The today works consist in the revision and update of the mentioned investigation. At that moment some matirials were dificult to clasificate. In an earlier studies the Historical Archeaology, the recognized presence of black salaves at the first ocupations of the Xanaes riverbanks, and their productions, facilitate a more integrated and updated vision that is wich we propose.
