El presente artículo se focaliza en las actitudes de docentes argentinos de escuela secundaria acerca de los
beneficios formativos de estudiantes de otras nacionalidades en sus aulas. En tal sentido, realizamos un relevamiento en
una escuela privada de la ciudad de Rosario, Argentina, a la cual asisten constantemente estudiantes de intercambio. A
través de una encuesta semiestructurada se releva la importancia que asignan a estos estudiantes en sus conversaciones
con otros miembros de la escuela, la implementación de actividades previas o a futuro que los involucre, sus opiniones
acerca de la responsabilidad que le cabe a la escuela para ocuparse de la integración de los mismos, los conocimientos
previos acerca de Argentina, entre otros temas similares. El artículo concluye con algunas sugerencias para los docentes
en torno al mejor aprovechamiento de la diversidad cultural para la enseñanza de las disciplinas escolares
This article focuses on the attitudes of Argentine secondary school teachers about the educational benefits of students of other nationalities in their classrooms. In this regard, we conducted a survey in a private school in the city of Rosario, Argentina, which is constantly attended by exchange students. Through a semi-structured survey, the importance assigned to these students in their conversations with other members of the school, the implementation of previous or future activities that involve them, their opinions about the school role in their social integration, their previous knowledge about Argentina, among other similar subjects is taken into account. The article concludes with some suggestions for teachers regarding the best use of cultural diversity for the teaching of school disciplines.
