En este trabajo voy a
retomar la relación entre el lenguaje y la
escritura con el propósito de definir
una concepción de escritura desde la
lingüística y, al mismo tiempo,
establecer sus límites para abordar este
objeto. Para ello es necesario revisar las
posiciones desde las que ha
considerado a la escritura, que oscilan
entre su carácter derivado o autónomo.
Tal revisión permitirá discutir si la
lingüística es capaz de reflexionar
acerca de la escritura como
constitución de un espacio o si esta
clave de su autonomía sólo puede ser
conceptualizada desde una semiótica
In this paper I will return to the relationship between language and writing in order to define a conception of writing from Linguistics and, at the same time, establish its limits to address this object. For this it is necessary to review the positions from which Linguistics has considered writing, which oscillate between two possibilities, whether writing is derived or autonomous. Such a review will allow us to discuss whether Linguistics is capable of reflecting on writing as the constitution of a space or whether this key to its autonomy can only be conceptualized from a semiotic perspective.
