El objetivo del artículo es analizar en forma exploratoria la acción sindical de los trabajadores del Estado durante los gobiernos del Chile postdictatorial. Consideramos relevante investigar a partir de estudios de casos, la acción desarrollada por colectivos de trabajadores públicos, fuertemente afectados por los fenómenos de la tercerización, precarización y subcontratación, puesto que evidenciarían por una parte la falta de representatividad de las organizaciones sindicales tradicionales del sector público y por la otra, un proceso de relevo generacional que daría origen a nuevos liderazgos y formas de participación político sindical en base al principio de la autonomía y la democracia en las bases.
The objective of the article is to explore in an exploratory way the union action of state workers during the post-dictatorial Chile government. We consider relevant to investigate from case studies, the action developed by groups of public workers, strongly affected by the phenomena of outsourcing, precarization and subcontracting, since they would show on the one hand the lack of representativeness of traditional unions of the public sector and on the other, a process of generational change that would give rise to new leaderships and forms of union political participation based on the principle of autonomy and democracy at the grassroots level.
