Descripción
La necesidad de priorizar, los significados o las estructuras en el momento de traducir no resulta una opción que pueda resolverse sin que medie una instancia de reflexión previa.
No obstante, aunque falte o se postergue esta reflexión sobre su ejercicio, no se impide, por lo visto, la práctica concreta de la técnica.
Seguramente, cada uno reconoce cuál es la oportunidad más propicia para sostener las formas o valorar la comprensión más eficiente del texto traducido.
Nuestras consideraciones se focalizan en que la elección entre cada una de las prioridades podrían basarse en el marco de determinadas categorías textuales.
When translating, the need to give priority to meanings or structures does not prove to be an option that can be resolved without the mediation of a preliminary reflection. Nevertheless, even if this reflection on its exercise is missing or postponed, the concrete practice of the technique is, ostensibly, not hindered. For sure, each of us is able to realise which is the most favourable opportunity to maintain forms or to value the most efficient understanding of the translated text. Our considerations are focused on the idea that the choice between each of the different priorities could be based on the framework of certain textual categories.
