Escritura de géneros profesionales en la carrera de Ingeniería en Recursos Naturales Renovables (IRNR) de la UNPA: el Plan de Manejo de Fauna

Este artículo se inscribe dentro de la amplia corriente de estudios sobre Alfabetización Académica y
Profesional, cuyo objetivo principal es la formación de los alumnos universitarios en las
convenciones sociales y discursivas propias de cada ámbito del saber. Nos interesa en particular
concentrarnos en las actividades de escritura, con el fin de aportar a descripciones empíricas que los
especialistas en el tema reconocen como aún escasas. En un trabajo anterior hemos explorado las
consignas de escritura a lo largo de cuatro asignaturas en diferentes tramos de la carrera de IRNR,
lo que nos permitió reconstruir los trayectos pedagógicos recorridos hasta la consolidación de
actividades escriturarias de géneros discursivos complejos, al final de la carrera. En la presente
comunicación nos focalizamos en describir y analizar el Plan de Manejo de Fauna, trabajo final de
una asignatura de último año, que consiste en la elaboración de un plan integral de manejo de una
especie determinada, cuya selección, objetivos y actividades de intervención deben ser debidamente
justificados. Analizamos las características lingüísticas y composicionales del género, las consignas y pautas que organizan y orientan su escritura, sus antecedentes en los trabajos prácticos previos, y
la devolución de los docentes al producto final escrito por los alumnos.
This article takes part in the broad strain of studies on Academic and Professional Literacy, being its main objective the formation of university students in social and discursive conventions distinctive of each branch of knowledge. We take a particular interest in writing activities, aiming to contribute to empiric descriptions that specialists on the topic consider yet scarce. In a previous work we have explored writing instructions along four subjects in different stages of the career in IRNR, wich allowed us to reconstruct the pedagogic course up to the consolidation of writing complex discursive genres at the end of the career. In the present communication we intend to focus on the description and analysis of the Fauna Management Plan, the last year course´s final assignment, that consists in the elaboration of an integral plan of management for a particular species, the selection, objectives and intervention activities of which must be properly justified. We analyze the linguistic and compositional characteristics of the genre, the instructions and guidelines that organize and lead the writing process, its precedents in previous practical works, and the teacher´s assessment of the final product written by students.
