Desde el Análisis Crítico del Discurso, el presente trabajo analiza la solicitada que Jorge Omar Sobisch, Gobernador de la Provincia del Neuquén publicó en los periódicos nacionales el 13 de abril de 2007, luego de la muerte del Maestro Carlos Fuentealba el 4 de abril del mismo mes, en el marco de la represión llevada a cabo por la policía provincial e intenta sacar a la luz las conexiones entre el uso de la lengua, ideología y el ejercicio del poder, que pasan generalmente desapercibidas.
Within the framework of Critical Discourse Analysis (C.D.A), the present paper analyzes the appeal signed by Jorge Omar Sobisch, governor of Neuquén Province, which appeared in the national newspapers on April 13, 2007, after the death of Teacher Carlos Fuentealba on April 4 at the hands of the provincial police during the repression of the teachers´ strike. It also attempts to bring to the surface the connections between the use of language, ideology, and the exercise of power, which normally pass unadverted.
