Satyr Drama is a theatrical (sub-) genre characterized by "inverting" the message and emotions of Tragedy, poetic form to which is associated not only sharing Festive (performative) occasion, but the constitution of the frame structure and the presence of the highest figures of myth, that now interact with satyrs, monsters and characters unknown in Tragedy. This paper aims to discuss the process of "inversion" of tragic message and the insertion of "laughter" in Satirical Drama from its formal elements, to propose that while the political component is not dominant in this (sub -) genre, it is possible to detect areas of political discourse determined mainly by the context of representation and for proposing a message of reversing the Tragedy that is eminently political. The offered conclusion is Satyr Drama can reverse the tragic discourse showing the fictional character of Tragedy and, form there, deactivating typically tragic emotions and replacing them by a new one, hilarious laughter. In this context, changing emotional response favors a different and diminished, but not completely absent, political vision.
