establecimiento, reconstruiremos algunos pasajes
In the first decades of the 21st century a large number of museums started to collect and exhibit contemporary productions. Many of them came from traditional museums that began to acquire or exhibit these types of plastic arts. This is the case of the first contemporary museum in Argentina, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Bahia Blanca. From its origin it has had a special relationship with the Fine Arts Museum of Bahia Blanca. This bond becomes a phenomenon that distinguishes the history of art museums in the country. Twenty years after the inauguration of this establishment, we reconstruct some passages of its history to corroborate the change that takes place between both museums across their history. To do so, we worked on the different managements that followed and we dealt with the policies carried out to apply for both museums. Thus, this institution becomes an illustrative example of the paradoxes and contradictions that present an international tendency from a given context.
