In the literary production of the last years (UBACyT, 01/W977), a number of novels explore writings influenced by new technologies. This paper will consider two novels, Los amigos soviéticos (Terranova, 2009) and Objetos maravillosos (Incardona, 2007), representative of two ways of engaging with technology. In the first case, a novel that has been written based on the Google browser; in the second, a novel which reworks texts previously published on a blog. From a qualitative perspective, the analysis of these novels shows the possibilities that new technologies offer since they foster writing, promote the availability and circulation of texts, as well as enquire into the modes of literary production. Although still far from being part of the literary canon, these productions put forward a reflection on writing and literature linked to the ICTs, and a writing associated with the practices of the young in the present scene. The well-known uneasiness in the face of the fragmentary, the copy and paste, the drift with no planned destiny encouraged by links are faced with the challenge of designing some criteria in order to assign meaning. At the same time, this enquiry allows us to find new questions which dust off canonized forms.
