El presente trabajo tiene como espacio de análisis una pequeña localidad del sudeste santafesino, Rueda. El objetivo más acotado de este trabajo es analizar los intereses y la impronta económico-social que la fundación y formación del pueblo trajo para la familia fundadora y para la región circundante. En un sentido más amplio intentamos enmarcar este proceso en un contexto nacional donde nuestro país buscaba su lugar dentro de la división internacional del trabajo como productora de materias primas, ganaderas y agrícolas.
The following analysis has at its core a small town in south-eastern Santa Fe: Rueda. Our objective is essentially to analyze the interests and the socio-economical mark which the foundation and development of the town brought upon the founding family and the surrounding region. In a broad sense, we have tried to place this process within a national context where our country was trying to fit in the international division of labor as a raw material producer, mainly of livestock and other agricultural goods.
