A partir del análisis de los textos constitucionales de 1801 y 1805, producto de la rebelión antiesclavista en Saint Domingue / Haití, nos proponemos promover una reflexionar sobre los cambios socio-jurídicos en la población de la isla, el modelo familiar dominante y la regulación estatal de la religión, en el contexto de la primera independencia de Nuestra América. Esta mirada se propone reforzar la crítica hacia ciertos mitos repetidos durante un siglo y medio en nuestro ámbito escolar y no del todo desterrados al presente.
From the analysis of the constitutional texts of 1801 and 1805, the result of the anti-slavery rebellion in Saint Domingue / Haiti, we propose to promote a reflection on the socio-legal changes in the population of the island, the dominant family model and state regulation of religion, in the context of the first independence of Our America. This view aims to reinforce the criticism towards certain myths repeated over a century and a half in our school environment and not entirely banished in the present.
