Importancia de los sectores intensivos en conocimiento en Rosario: Avances y desafíos para la transformación productiva

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la importancia de los sectores intensivos en conocimiento (SIC) y su desempeño reciente en la ciudad de Rosario. Se busca además evaluar la existencia de un cambio estructural a partir del crecimiento de sectores intensivos en conocimiento.
Para evaluar la importancia económica y el desempeño de los SIC en la ciudad se recurrió a diversos indicadores: facturación, empleo, inversiones y exportaciones. El análisis muestra que para el año 2017 los SIC representaron un 9,2% de la facturación total del sector privado en la ciudad de Rosario, un 7,1% de los empleos registrados totales de la ciudad, un 29% de los montos de anuncios de inversión (sólo para manufactura); y un 13,4% de las exportaciones de bienes.
This paper aims to analyze the importance of knowledge-intensive sectors (SIC) and their recent performance in the city of Rosario. It also seeks to assess the existence of a structural change from the growth of knowledge-intensive sectors. To assess the economic importance and performance of the SICs in the city, various indicators were used: billing, employment, investments and exports. The analysis shows that for the year 2017 the SICs represented 9.2% of the total turnover of the private sector in the city of Rosario, 7.1% of the total registered jobs in the city, 29% of the amounts of investment announcements (for manufacturing only); and 13.4% of goods exports.
