Inserción regional y perspectivas del Aeropuerto Rosario en el actual contexto nacional

Todo territorio necesita hoy mejorar su inserción global construyendo nuevos vínculos, y son las ciudades de valor estratégico – sedes del poder económico o político- las que construyen interconexiones por contar con distintos medios de movilidad. De allí que, toda ciudad que disponga de un aeropuerto cuenta con un factor esencial para el crecimiento económico de la región en que se localiza. En los últimos años, la tendencia se orientó hacia la privatización de los servicios en las terminales aeroportuarias; a nivel nacional, se conformó hacia fines del siglo pasado el SNA y se concesionó la explotación de gran parte de los principales aeropuertos del país al consorcio AA2000. El aeropuerto Rosario, excluido de la concesión, se mantuvo en el ámbito provincial (aunque es parte del SNA), bajo la gestión de un Ente a cargo del mantenimiento y administración de la terminal aérea. En los años recientes, creció la oferta de vuelos, los pasajeros transportados y se ejecutaron importantes inversiones que permiten renovar las expectativas favorables para la región, recomponiendo su inserción en el sistema nacional
Every territory today needs – to improve its global insertion – to build new links knowing that strategically valuable cities – the headquarters of economic or political power- build in-terconnections by having different means of mobility. Hence, every city that has an airport has an essential factor for the economic growth of the region where it where it is located. In recent years, the trend has been directed towards the privatization of airport terminals services. At the national level, the SNA was formed towards the end of the last century and the exploitation of most of the main airports of the country was concessioned to the AA2000 consortium. Rosario airport, excluded from the concession, remained under the provincial administration (although it is part of the SNA), under the management of an entity in charge of maintenance and admin-istration of the air terminal. In the last years, the flights offer and the amount of transported pas-sengers increased, and major important investments that renew the favorable expectations for the region were carried out, recomposing the insertion in the national system. - Keywords: Airport changes – accessibility – Public operation
