2020-05-232020-05-232005-08-312469-0732http://hdl.handle.net/2133/18256El presente trabajo intenta abordar, desde un espacio de análisis acotado (la ciudad de Rosario durante el auge agroexportador de mediados del siglo XIX y primeras décadas del XX), algunos problemas que vinculan el entramado de las prácticas sociales de una comunidad étnico-nacional: los españoles, al proceso de formación de una clase dominante. La colectividad española -aún cuando arrastre o genere heterogeneidades internas de significación- tendrá una presencia incuestionable en la historia de la ciudad; tanto en términos cuantitativos como cualitativos. Nuestro interés está dirigido a aproximarnos a ciertos grupos que se insertaron, con disímil facilidad, en las categorías socioeconómicas empresariales y gerenciales, como una manera de reconocer en ellos los gérmenes de nuestra burguesía nacional a nivel local. El trabajo incluye una primera parte, donde se intenta realizar una ponderación -a través de la consulta de fuentes de tipo cuantitativo- de la magnitud y especificidad de la inmigración española en Rosario en el periodo, para luego realizar una primera aproximación al sector de inmigrantes españoles que se involucran en la economía urbana y regional en su calidad de empresarios.The current work will try, from a restricted analysis viewpoint (the city of Rosario during the agroexporting boom in the mid-XIX century and first decades of the XX century), to focus on some problems which link the plot of the social practices of a national-ethnic community -the Spanish- to a dominant class formation process. The Spanish community, even when it carries o generates significant internal heterogeneity, will have an unquestionable presence in the history of the city, both in quantitative and in qualitative terms. Our interest is to approach certain groups which got inserted, with a higher or lower level of ease, in the managerial and entrepreneurial socioeconomic categories, as a way of recognizing in them the germs of our national bourgeoisie at a local level.
