2015-09-192015-09-1920121852-8554http://hdl.handle.net/2133/5095En el marco de los proyectos de extensión universitaria, acreditados en las Universidades Nacionales de La Plata y de Rosario, vinculados al patrimonio arqueológico monumental del Sistema Serrano de Ventania, se propone su valoración como recurso no renovable apuntando a la concientización de la población local para la protección del mismo. Se tiene en cuenta el tipo de registro material de la zona, que incluye estructuras de piedra, piedras paradas, cuevas y aleros con arte rupestre y sitios en estratigrafía. Se realizaron diversas actividades tanto de investigación como de extensión. Se relevó el imaginario colectivo respecto del patrimonio regional en diferentes sectores de la comunidad local. Posteriormente se realizaron dos encuentros de Arqueología Monumental de Ventania y talleres de discusión. Considerando los resultados obtenidos se prevé la realización de nuevas jornadas informativas y formativas y ampliar el trabajo de campo así como el análisis e interpretación de los datos obtenidos hasta el momento. Se presentan los resultados parciales vinculados al relevamiento de opinión y uso del patrimonio arqueológico.This research forms part of university extension projects acredited by the National Universities of La Plata and Rosario regarding the monumental archaeological heritage of the Sistema Serrano de Ventania. It is proposed that the latter should be valued as a non-renewable resource aiming at raising the awareness of the local population on its protection.Taking into account the archaeological record of the area, which includes stone structures, standing stones, caves and eaves with cave paintings and sites in strata, various research and extension activities were performed. The collective imaginary regarding the regional heritage was investigated from different sectors of the local community. Subsequently, two conferences on Monumental Archaeology of Ventania and discussion workshops took place. Considering the results obtained, it is expected that new informative and learning conferences will be held, and the expansion of both the fieldwork and the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered so far will take place.
