2021-11-262021-11-2620212250-866Xhttp://hdl.handle.net/2133/22729Las fábricas localizadas en el paraje Santa Felicia y en el área rural de Mocoví (Provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina) fueron establecidas a principios del siglo XX con el objetivo de elaborar extracto de tanino a partir de la explotación del quebracho colorado presente en la región. Su instalación fue posible por varios factores, entre ellos la privatización de la tierra pública, el establecimiento de sistemas de transporte y comunicación y la construcción de viviendas y equipamientos de primera necesidad. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar los avances en el estudio documental y de campo sobre los restos arqueológicos de las fábricas ya que los vestigios de esa industria constituyen un valioso testimonio para comprender la historia y el presente de la región.The factories located in Santa Felicia and in the rural area of Mocoví (Province of Santa Fe, Argentina) were established at the beginning of the 20th century with the aim of producing tannin extract from the exploitation of the quebracho colorado tree present in the region. Their installation was made possible by several factors, among them the privatization of public land, the establishment of transport and com-munication systems and the construction of housing and basic necessities.
