2020-05-132020-05-132017-06-302469-0732http://hdl.handle.net/2133/18127En el presente artículo se intenta encontrar las múltiples causas que provocaron en el período 2008-2010 la crisis y el posterior cierre de la autopartista Paraná Metal en la ciudad de Villa Constitución, Santa Fe, dejando un saldo de 600 trabajadores despedidos. El paro que los trabajadores realizaron por 14 días en mayo-junio de 2010 y la última huelga donde los obreros se mantuvieron por 33 días cortando la autopista Rosario-Buenos Aires en la intersección de Villa Constitución en septiembre del mismo año, fueron cruciales para comprender el desenlace final. A través de entrevistas, se analizó el accionar y el margen de negociación que tuvo el gremio junto a los trabajadores y las características particulares de las dos gerencias que dirigieron la autopartista en ese período. El artículo también da cuenta de la influencia de la implementación del modelo económico Neoliberal en la Argentina en la década del ´70, para observar la crisis estructural del sector automotriz legitimada por un modelo de acumulación capitalista mundial que entra en crisis en 2008.This article pretends to find the numerous reasons that caused the crisis and definitive closure of Parana Metal, an auto parts manufacturer, between 2008 and 2010 in Villa Constitución, leaving 600 redundant workers. The protest that the workers held for 14 days in May-June 2010 and the last strike in which the workers cut for 33 days the motorway that joins Rosario and Buenos Aires at the intersection of Villa Constitución in September of the same year, were crucial to understand the final outcome. Through interviews, the action and the negotiating margin that the union had, were analysed with the workers and the particular characteristics of the two management departments that ruled the motorway in that period.
