2016-04-202016-04-2020141853-8827http://hdl.handle.net/2133/5927A diferencia de otras realidades latinoamericanas, donde los movimientos sociales encarnan los clivajes del vínculo entre lo político y lo social, dándole voz a las demandas de género, religiosas, étnicas, ambientales, sectoriales, en Chile, desde los años ´30, la forma en que se expresó ese vínculo fue casi exclusivamente a través del sistema partidario. En la etapa democratizadora, a partir de las movilizaciones lideradas por los estudiantes en 2006, y fundamentalmente en 2011, se observa una crisis en la forma tradicional de construcción de identidades políticas. En este contexto, este artículo indagará sobre las movilizaciones protagonizadas por los estudiantes con el objetivo de analizar el complejo campo de interacciones establecidos entre este actor social y el gobierno nacional durante el período 2006-2013. El análisis de esta etapa presentará cortes temporales ya que se examinarán los momentos en que el movimiento estudiantil se posicionó en el escenario político. Por ello, se analizará el período 2006-2007, correspondiente al primer mandato de Michelle Bachelet, y el período 2011-2013, correspondiente a la presidencia de Sebastián Piñera. Asimismo, se abrirán interrogantes de cara al futuro de la política chilena, ya que un movimiento de este alcance da cuenta de la necesidad de repensar la relación con el Estado, su institucionalidad y los partidos políticosUnlike other Latin American realities, in which social movements represent the division between society and politics and give voice to religious, gender, ethnic and environmental demands, in Chile, since the 1930s, that relation -between society and politics- was almost exclusively expressed by the party system. In the democratizing period, from the start of the students’ demonstrations of 2006 and mainly in 2011, a crisis in the traditional way of constructing political identities is observed. In this context, this article looks into the students’ demonstrations in order to analyze the interactions between the students and the government between 2006 and 2013. The analysis of this period will present temporal cuts according to the moments in which the students’ movement appear in the political situation. For this reason, both the Michelle Bachelet and Sebastian Piñera’s terms of office will be analyzed.
