Vázquez, Jorge2024-07-022024-07-022022https://hdl.handle.net/2133/27396El presente proyecto de investigación se propone profundizar en las prácticas configuradas dentro del espectro del ciberbullying, el mecanismo de coerción por medios digitales más generalizado a día de hoy, a partir de un acercamiento específico a las formas en que se ejerce en contra de conglomerados sociales más propensos a sufrirlo, como es el caso de la juventud migrante de entre 15 y 19 años, asentada en Imbabura y Carchi, provincias de la Sierra Norte del Ecuador. Un diseño metodológico sencillo pero preciso, permite detectar y caracterizar detalladamente aquellas representaciones del ciberbullying, por medio de una aproximación a muestras homogéneas por oportunidad, en correspondencia con el grupo de estudio definido. La aplicación de entrevistas semiestructuradas en profundidad recopilan los testimonios de jóvenes colombianos y venezolanos como perpetradores, víctimas directas o indirectas de ciberacoso, específicamente a través de los formatos soportados por el sistema de mensajería instantánea WhatsApp. Como respuesta a la problemática identificada y los hallazgos efectuados, se presenta el diseño teórico y práctico de una maqueta de realidad virtual y video en 360º, dirigida al público joven de Ecuador, cuyo propósito será trasladar las experiencias reales a una simulación inmersiva igual de cruda y lesiva como ha sido reportada, para generar conciencia respecto a que el ciberbullying –en cualquiera de sus formas– no es una broma.This research project aims to delve into the practices configured within the spectrum of cyberbullying, the most widespread mechanism of coercion by digital means today, from a specific approach to the ways in which it is exercised against social conglomerates more likely to suffer it, as is the case of migrant youth between 15 and 19 years old, settled in Imbabura and Carchi, provinces of Ecuador’s Sierra Norte region. A simple but precise methodological design allows detecting and characterizing in detail those representations of cyberbullying, by means of an approximation to homogeneous samples per opportunity, in correspondence with the defined study group. The application of in-depth semistructured interviews collect the testimonies of young Colombians and Venezuelans as perpetrators, direct or indirect victims of cyberbullying, specifically through the formats supported by the WhatsApp instant messaging system.
