La novedad de la situación y el esfuerzo por explicar acentúan un aspecto típico del discurso oral: el de una composición que se desarrolla en el acto mismo de comunicar y que comprende por lo tanto sus materiales preparatorios.This article explores various issues arising from the practice of oral history and narrative genres. “Oral history” tends to be a story never told, even if it consists of stories already narrated.
