El estudio tiene un enfoque cualitativo, a través de un estudio aproximativo del denominado Análisis Crítico del Discurso (ACD). Los resultados indican que la representación social del inmigrante se sitúa entre la ambivalencia de la inclusión (desde la propuesta de accionar político) y la discriminación (desde la construcción discursiva de la subjetividad del inmigrante)The article has as objective to analyze the social representation of immigrant in the government programs of the year 2005 and 2013 of the former president Michelle Bachelet. The study has a qualitative approach, through a rough estimate of the socalled Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA).
