2019-05-092019-05-0920182408-4409http://hdl.handle.net/2133/14587El presente texto se configura como una presentación de las ideas plasmadas en el libro Lingüística Generativa: desde los estudios teóricos a las reflexiones histórico–filosóficas de reciente publicación. Los artículos que conforman la primera parte del libro se concentran en diferentes aspectos de la relación entre teoría lingüística y hechos de la lengua. Esta modalidad tiene como consecuencia destacar que la teoría se construye en relación con la empiria y que esta, en más de una ocasión, retorna al ámbito de aquella y la orienta hacia algún reajuste o revisión. Sobre esta base, los artículos que reseñamos en este trabajo, elaborados en el marco de la gramática generativa, tienen como eje un conjunto de tópicos, entre los que se destaca el rol de las categorías funcionales y de las categorías léxicas, la validez categorial del adjetivo, la formación de verbos deadjetivales, y la interpretación oracional / transoracional. La originalidad de los trabajos reside en las perspectivas desde las cuales se plantean los temas, que quedan claramente expresadas en las preguntas que en la reseña de cada artículo hemos destacado. La segunda parte abarca un conjunto de artículos que se centran en temáticas epistemológicas y lógicosemánticas en el marco del enfoque generativista. También se suma en este apartado un enfoque histórico, que permite reconstruir cambios operados en diversas categorías, como la de “parámetros” desde su formulación en la Teoría de Rección y Ligamiento hasta su concepción en el Minimalismo; conceptos claves como Gramática Universal en sus diversas formulaciones en el desarrollo de la lingüística chomskiana; o cambios que se registran acerca de la relación entre lenguaje y pensamiento en el actual Programa Minimalista y su orientación biolingüística. La reseña que presentamos tiene como finalidad no ahondar en detalles en torno al contenido sustantivo de estos cuatro trabajos sino en pensar cuáles son los ejes, tópicos y conceptos teóricos claves del programa de investigación generativo que los atraviesan, en un intento de reflexionar en torno a la posibilidad de tender lazos o puentes entre ellos con el objetivo de “ponerlos en diálogo”.The present text is configured as a presentation of the ideas found in the book: Generative Linguistics: from theoretical studies to the historical-philosophical reflections recently published. The articles included in the first part of the book concentrate in some aspects of the relation between linguistic theory and facts of language. This mode lays emphasis on the idea that theory is constructed in relation to the empiric phenomenon and, on more than one occasion, the latter returns to the scope of the former and directs it towards some adjustment or revision. On this basis, the articles reviewed in the present paper are elaborated in the framework of Generative Grammar, and they consist of a set of topics such as the role of functional and lexical categories, the categorial validity of the adjective, the formation of de-adjetival verbs and sentential/transentential interpretation. The originality of these works resides in the perspectives from which these topics are considered, that are clearly expressed in the questions highlighted in the review of each article. The second part comprises a set of articles that focus on epistemological subjects and logical-semantic topics in the framework of the generative approach. This section also adds a historical approach, which allows us to reconstruct changes in various categories, such as "parameters" since its formulation in Government and Binding Theory until its conception in Linguistic Minimalism; as well as key concepts as Universal Grammar in its various proposals in the development of Chomskyan Linguistics; or changes that have taken place in the relationship between language and thought in the current Minimalist Program and its biolinguistic approach.
