2019-05-222019-05-2220122250-866Xhttp://hdl.handle.net/2133/14842El sitio Ánimas del Pantanillo corresponde a la antigua capilla Nuestra Señora de la Merced en el Pantanillo (Pedanía de Achiras, Departamento de Río Cuarto, Provincia de Córdoba). La iglesia se edificó en el año 1770 y posteriormente, en 1830 se trasladó a su actual emplazamiento la localidad en Achiras. Las tumbas fueron excavadas por miembros del Laboratorio de Arqueología y Etnohistoria (LAyE) de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto y luego remitidos a esta autora para su identificación. Los materiales corresponden a dos enterratorios individuales: Tumba N2 W4 Izquierda (Enterratorio I) y Tumba N2 W4 Derecha (Enterratorio II). En este trabajo se presenta el proceso de curadoría al que fueron sometidos los restos para su conservación y el posterior análisis osteológico. Hasta el momento no se ha podido establecer filiaciones desde el registro histórico documental que confirmen lo inferido desde el registro óseo.Ánimas del Pantanillo site corresponds to the former chapel Our Lady of Mercyin Pantanillo (District of Achiras, Department of Río Cuarto, Córdoba Province). The church was built in 1770 and then moved to its present location in the town Achiras in 1830. The tombs were excavated by members of the Laboratory for Archaeology and Ethnohistory (LAyE), Faculty of Human Sciences, National University of Río Cuarto, and then sent to the author for identification. The materials correspond to two individual burials: Tomb N2 W4 Left (Burial I) y Tomb N2 W4 Right (Burial II).This report presents the curatorial process to which the remains were subjected and the subsequent osteological analysis.
