This research work constitutes a study on the motivations of Fuegian first-year university students at the time of participating in and interpreting a transmedia story within a digital paradigm where cultural convergence has transformed the ways of production, distribution and consumption of both fictional and documentary contents The main objective of the study is to know the individual motivations of the interactors (Murray, 1999) -people who are no longer only users, spectators or receivers due to their participatory situation within the story- who consume transmedia productions to engage, participate and remain in this type of projects. The way in wich the individuals relate to these narratives is observed and studied through the analysis of the characteristics of the narrative genre and particularly of transmedia storytelling and their impact on the way of telling stories, without losing sight of the irruption of the Internet on them. A categorization and guide of those experiences is constituted to facilitate the development of a transmedia production to scriptwriters and producers, taking into account the aspirations of those who will participate.esopenAccessNarrativas transmediaParticipaciónEstudiantes universitariosAccesibilidadDiseñoAnálisis y categorización de las motivaciones individuales para la participación en un proyecto transmedia : experiencias de estudiantes universitarios con narrativas transmedia en Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego, 2019.tesisAttribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International You are free to: Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.
