Además, se analiza cómo, a partir de dichas funciones es posible la construcción de espacios utópicos, como la Isla del Coco, en el que se manifiesten los anhelos del autor por unificación de la región centroamericana y su desarrollo tecnológico.In this work we seek to systematize the functions that utopia has, from the point of view of literary discourse and how they are reflected throughout the text The fall of the eagle by Carlos Gagini.
