2019-05-112019-05-112018-122314-0542http://hdl.handle.net/2133/14662A partir de un hecho histórico específico, la llamada Querella Iconoclasta, que tuvo lugar en Bizancio entre los siglos VIII y IX, y que constituye un punto central en la discusión sobre las imágenes – religiosas -, trataremos de abordar la cuestión desde el punto de vista de la Imagen, dejando de lado los planteos teológicos, políticos y militares que ciertamente fueron parte constitutiva de la disputa. Nos ocuparemos de investigar, desde una visión más cercana a la antropología y a la teoría de la Imagen, porqué la discusión que profundizó las diferencias teológicas entre Oriente y Occidente, tuvo como marco referencial a la Imagen. Nuestras conclusiones apuntan a establecer que dada la complejidad de su definición, la clave está en su vínculo con la mirada: desde aquí intentaremos establecer la relación entre visibilidad e invisibilidad, entre mundo sensible y mundo espiritual, y finalmente, entre pecado y fe.From a specific historical event, called Iconoclast Claim, which took place in Byzantium between the VIII and IX Centuries, and constitutes a central item in the discussion about images – religious images – we shall try to address the subject from the Image point of view, putting aside the theological, politic and military matters that were certainly a constitutive part in the dispute. We shall investigate, from a vision closer to anthropology and the Image theory, the reason why the discussion that deepened the theological differences between the East and the West had the Image as a framework of reference.
