2022-12-222022-12-222022-12-202469-0732http://hdl.handle.net/2133/25084En este trabajo analizaremos el documental Chubut, libertad y tierra (2019), del realizador patagónico Carlos Echeverría, que aborda la problemática de las tierras en manos de latifundistas extranjeros en el extremo sur del país. Nos interesará la puesta en escena de los testimonios orales, especialmente las grabaciones en audio del principal protagonista sobre el cual gira el film: el médico Juan Carlos Espina, diputado nacional por la Unión Cívica Radical Intransigente y fundador del partido político “Libertad y tierra”, localizado principalmente en la ciudad de El Maitén, provincia de Chubut. El análisis de las diversas imágenes de archivo con las que se trabaja en la película, para la reconstrucción de una parte muy importante y poco conocida de la historia reciente de la región, será otro de los focos de este trabajo. Nos ocuparemos, finalmente, del imaginario territorial, regional y espacial que el film pone en escena. Testimonios, oralidad y territorio son elaborados en conjunto para abordar memorias subalternas, dejadas de lado por la historiografía nacionalista, y para dar cuenta de un imaginario vinculado a las luchas tanto del pasado como del presente de los pueblos originarios.In this paper, we will analyse the documentary Chubut, libertad y tierra (2019), by the Patagonian filmmaker Carlos Echeverría, which addresses the issue of land in the hands of foreign landowners in the far south of the country. We will be interested in the staging of oral testimonies, especially the audio recordings of the main protagonist around whom the film revolves: the doctor Juan Carlos Espina, national deputy for the Unión Cívica Radical Intransigente and founder of the political party "Libertad y tierra", based in the city of El Maitén, in the province of Chubut. The analysis of the various archive images used in the film to reconstruct a very important and little-known part of the region's recent history will be another focus of this work. Finally, we will deal with the territorial, regional and spatial imaginary that the film stages.
