Bajo esta perspectiva se analizan los capítulos 17 a 23 de la defensa, considerados como el segmento epidíctico más extenso del discurso. Se estudia la interferencia de la preceptiva epidíctica en la formulación de los argumentos y, a la inversa, la presencia de la situación del juicio en el material declamatorio. Por último, se detecta el alcance persuasivo de la caracterización del binomio diuitiae/paupertas en la estrategia general de la defensa.Abstract: The Apology of Apuleius combines themes and strategies typical of the genus forense and the genus demonstratiuum. From this perspective, chapters 17 to 23 of the defense are analyzed since they are considered as the most extensive epideictic segment of the speech. The interference of the epideictic preceptive in the formulation of the arguments is studied and, conversely, the presence of the situation of the trial in the declamatory material.
