Se trabajan algunas cuestiones que se consideran esenciales: los centros y las periferias, la mercantilización de la sociedad y los mundos mezclados, que permiten analizar las recientes transformaciones culturales, los nuevos movimientos sociales, las cambiantes conformaciones identitarias y las formas de exclusión social. En este contexto no dejan de señalarse los impulsos esperanzadores que en el transcurso de la historia han tenido y tienen las “Utopías”.This essay aims to reflect upon cultural diversity in the age of globalization of capital and of original accumulation in order to open lines of investigation of theoretical problems and allow debate. It deals with several issues that are considered essential: centers and peripheries, mercantilization of society and mixed worlds, which make it possible to analyze the recent cultural changes, the new social movements , the changing indentity transformations and the forms of social exclusion.
