It considers the results obtained from the exploratory research carried out by the CIFE, Faculty of Educational Science of Córdoba Catholic University: "Teacher training suitability facing the society demand". It also carries out a theoretical path thtoughout the present situation of the family and the school, institutions which are going through a changing progress that emerge from a reality totally different from rhat lived a few decades ago. Both have been moved inside and new possibilities of creative transformation arise. That is why, from these institutions reality, and taking in account the new demans the society makes towards the teacher training, it turns into a need that future teachers may have available instruments and strategies that ease their wrk in this full present-day society.En el presente artículo se relaciona la situación actual de la familia y la escuela con la demanda que, la sociedad cordobesa, realiza a la formación docente. Se toma en cuenta los resultados obtenidos en la investigación exploratoria llevada a cabo por el CIFE, Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Católica de Córdoba: "Adecuación de la formación docente en relación con las demandas del desempeño profesional." También se realiza un recorrido teórico acerca de la situación actual de la escuela y la familia. Instituciones que atraviesan procesos de cambios que surgen de una realidad totalmente distinta de la de hace algunas décadas. Ambas se han visto conmovidas en su interior y se observa la existencia de posibilidades de transformación creativa.
