En los últimos años, debido al aporte interdisciplinario de historiadores, antropólogos y arqueólogos ésta visión tradicional se ha revertido. El objetivo de nuestro trabajo será establecer las relaciones de género a nivel simbólico, a través de la producción y circulación interna de dos bienes considerados de prestigio: los textiles y los objetos de plata. Ya que consideramos que tanto el platero como la tejedora, plasmaban en sus creaciones la cosmovisión de su pueblo y el lugar que en su comunidad representaban hombres y mujeres.The researches about native societies, approached by the traditional historiography, have emphasized the role of men, neglecting the analysis of the rest of the community the chusma as they were called by different sources. In the recent years this traditional point of view has been reverted thanks to the interdisciplinary work of historians, anthropologists and archeologists. The aim of our project work is to establish the different gender relationship on an symbolic level trough the production and the internal circulation within their community of the two valuables: the textiles and the silvers ornaments.
