El objetivo es analizar los procesos de intervención social en el sector salud en el contexto de la pandemia (2020-2021), centrándose en las experiencias de les trabajadores sociales en hospitales de la zona sur de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, focalizando en el impacto que la crisis sanitaria tuvo en las instituciones de salud y cómo el trabajo social se integra y construye las instituciones en las que se desempeña. De este modo, la propuesta aborda dos tensiones analíticas: la burocratización estatal y los procesos de intervención profesional atravesados por la subjetividad heroica. A partir de entrevistas realizadas a les profesionales, se reflexiona sobre la autonomía relativa en los procesos de intervención, entendiendo que esta autonomía debe ser analizada conjuntamente con las experiencias de ejercicio profesional y las estructuras institucionales que las enmarcan.This article is part of the research project “Reconfigurations of Professional Social Work Interventions in Metropolitan Health Institutions during the COVID-19 Pandemic” (PRI-TS-UBA). The objective is to analyze social intervention processes in the health sector in the context of the pandemic (2020-2021), focusing on the experiences of social workers in hospitals in the southern part of Buenos Aires. This article focuses on the impact the health crisis had on health institutions and how social work integrates and constructs the institutions in which they work. In this way, the proposal addresses two analytical tensions: state bureaucratization and professional intervention processes influenced by heroic subjectivity.
