2025-11-202025-11-202025-062683-9393https://hdl.handle.net/2133/31516El presente escrito retoma la tesis de grado titulada La intervención profesional del Trabajo Social en la Unidad Penal Nº 15 de Batán: una mirada desde el Sur y el paradigma de Derechos Humanos presentada en el marco de la Licenciatura en Trabajo Social de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Argentina. La investigación tiene como punto de partida la problematización acerca de cómo se configuran las intervenciones sociales de les trabajadores sociales en la Unidad Penal N° 15 del Complejo Penitenciario de Batán de la ciudad de Mar del Plata, perteneciente al Sistema Penitenciario Bonaerense. Para ello, desde un enfoque metodológico cualitativo (Sautu, 2005) pretendemos indagar acerca de la presencia o ausencias de la perspectiva de Derechos Humanos en las intervenciones profesionales, proponiendo conocer sobre las estrategias de intervención, la autonomía profesional y planteando una caracterización del Servicio Penitenciario Bonaerense. De todo ello, denotamos que tanto les profesionales como las personas que la habitan son construides desde la producción y reproducción de los mecanismos de invisibilización propios de la cárcel como institución moderna. Apostamos a que la incomodidad que pueda generar este documento nos movilice, como colectivo profesional y militantes antipunitivistas, a construir nuevas posibilidades en este contexto.This paper takes up Degree Research Project, entitled The Professional Intervention of Social Work in Unidad Penal N.º 15: a Perspective from the South and the Paradigm of Human Rights, presented within the framework of the Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Argentina. Thus, this research challenges how social workers intervene in Unidad Penal N.º 15 of Batán’s penitentiary, Mar del Plata, which belongs to the Sistema Penitenciario Bonaerense. For this purpose, from a qualitative methodological approach (Sautu, 2005) we intend to investigate the presence or absence of the Human Rights perspective in professional interventions, to learn about the professionals’ intervention strategies and autonomy and propose a characterization of the Servicio Penitenciario Bonaerense. From all this, we observed that both the professionals and the people who inhabit it are made from the production and reproduction of the mechanisms of invisibilization of the prison as a modern institution.
