Las Sociedades de Socorros Mutuos en la localidad de Las Rosas durante el siglo XIX y primeras décadas del siglo XX

2020-05-142020-05-142017-12-282469-0732http://hdl.handle.net/2133/18140Por medio de nuestra investigación pretendemos conocer el desarrollo de las actividades llevadas a cabo por las Sociedades de Socorros Mutuos creadas en la localidad de Las Rosas por inmigrantes italianos y españoles, a finales del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX. Se intentará reconstruir los lazos que se crearon alrededor de estas sociedades, que se convirtieron en espacios de sociabilidad y solidaridad para la comunidad étnica e indagar en las relaciones que mantenían con la sociedad rosense en general. Las Sociedades de Socorros Mutuos que allí se instalaron no se cerraron al resto de la comunidad, no tuvieron carácter sectario, aunque en su mayoría estuvieron formadas por miembros de la elite local, brindaron ayuda a sus respectivas colectividades y también a los argentinos nativos que lo requerían. A su vez se convirtieron en un ámbito de sociabilidad y de integración para toda la comunidad.Through this research, our aim is to know the development of the activities implemented by the Friendly Societies established in Las Rosas (Argentina) and integrated by Italian and Spanish immigrants at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th. We intend to reconstruct the ties created around these societies, which were spaces of sociability and solidarity to the ethnic community. We also pretend to investigate which were the relations maintained with the people of Las Rosas. The Friendly Societies that were established there did not confine themselves but broaden to the rest of the community. Although most their members were representatives of the local elite, they offered help both to their own communities (either Spanish or Italian) and also to the Argentinians.
