This publication is the result of our Phd thesis. We aim to show the results of the analysis of the speeches delivered by the former Argentine president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, during her first presidency (2007-2011). This analysis is focused on the identification of a type of ethos that crosses the allocutions of CFK: the masterly ethos. In the characterization of this ethos we focus on identifying and describing the forms of controversy that the presidential discourse reveals and the discursive objects associated with them. Thereby, we focus on how to name, interpellate and disqualify the contradestinatario par excellence of the period: neoliberal discourses. This type of contradestinatario is characterized by being comprehensive, including both the civic and military sectors participating in the last coup, as well as the actors involved in the Menem era, the media corporations and the most economically powerful sectors of the agricultural sector. We will take care of all of them here.
