Resumen
Descripción
En Freedom and Resentment, Peter F.
In Freedom and Resentment, Peter F. Strawson has offered a solid argument against the possibility of accepting determinism and that such acceptance should translate itself into a adjustment of our attitude towards other people. We shall offer an analysis of the Stoic solution to the problem of the attitude to others within a universe guided by Necessity. Starting from the argumentative pattern offered by Strawson, we shall analyse the elements that will lead us to conclude that for Roman Stoicism the substitution of Reactive Attitudes with Objective Attitudes would not only be possible, but also desirable.
